An excellent day out for the Bloxham U9's at our hosts, Northampton Town FC, as they stretched their unbeaten run to 6 games with a well-deserved 2-1 win against Exeter.

The Bloxham squad waved flags majestically on the touchline to welcome the professionals onto the pitch before kick-off, and were lucky enough to take penalties on the pitch itself during the sun-drenched half-time break.

The players volunteered to sit together in the stands, and were leading their own chants to The Cobblers, right up to the final whistle. Their behaviour was exceptional, and all the players did themselves, their parents, and Bloxham FC proud.

A great time was had by all, the coaches couldn't be prouder: well done, everyone!
